Every time-tracking product fails at the same place: collection. A timer only records the people who remember to start it, and a monitoring agent only records the machine it is installed on. Stintt collects from the places the work already left a trace — the calendar it was booked in, and the chat window the person already has open — and chases the gap with a reminder they can answer in one line.

The things people ask before signing up
Calendar event metadata — title, start, end, attendees — over read-only OAuth, plus anything a person types into chat. It does not read documents, recordings or message contents from other tools, and there is no desktop agent.
Those reconstruct your day from what your computer did, which requires an always-on desktop app. Stintt reconstructs it from what you booked, which requires nothing installed. The trade-off is real: we see meetings and booked focus blocks precisely, and we rely on chat for the work that was never in a calendar.
Only if their week is not in a calendar at all. For teams that already book meetings and focus time, capture is a connect-once step and then a weekly review.
